Banana Bread

Ingredients: 
1 1/2 cups sugar 1/2 cup shortening 1/2 cup sour cream (or half & half or plain yogurt) 1 teasp baking soda mixed into the sour cream 3 eggs 3 ripe bananas 3 cups flour 1/2 teasp salt
Directions: 
Stir with a spoon just until blended. Pour into greased 5x9 loaf pan or two smaller pans. Bake at 350 for 50-60 minutes, until a toothpick stuck in the center comes out clean and dry. Remove from pan and cool on a rack.
