Chocolate Pudding
Ingredients:
Pudding:
60 g butter
1/2 cup castor sugar
1 egg
2 heaped teaspoons of cocoa
1 cup self raising flour
1/2 cup milk
Sauce:
1 heaped teaspoon of cocoa
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 1/4 cups boiling water
Optional:
30 ml brandy, or any liquer
and use only 1 cup water
not 1 1/4 cup)
Directions:
Pudding:
- Cream butter, sugar, egg and cocoa.
- Slowly mix in flour and milk alternately.
- Pour batter into bowl.
Sauce:
- Blend brown sugar and cocoa.
- Spread sauce mix evenly over pudding mix.
- Gently pour boiling water (and optional liquer) onto mix.
- Bake in oven at 180°C for 45 to 60 mins.
